New I talked to people from there
they say that the economy isn't so bad down there. Since 9/11, they have been hiring more people for the Army base there. The houses cost a lot, but most people are moving into Madison County down there rather than Huntsville, and then commuting to work. They built the Mercury rockets down there, started the whole space-race down there. Alabama borders Florida, and it shouldn't be that long of a drive for you. Just find a good company to get in with, then you got it made. Once you established a rep down there, almost any company down there will hire. They want mostly local talent, but have been known to recruit people. If my wife didn't want to stay in St. Louis, I'd still have a job down there because that is where my old job moved to.
