Other approaches which aim to aid the immune system rather than "cure a disease" or treat AIDS as "a disease" have had some success.

But because allopathy has little comprehension of other approaches - there is little to no public funding for pursuit of such non-Westerm pharm-chem oriented ideas.

I have personally witnessed one of those approaches - always dismissed as 'anecdotal' if not performed over 10 years with 10K specimens. (It's the word regularly employed re - every unscheduled recovery. It's a close relative of, you have non-specific ___itis):

A friend's cat has had feline HIV - a close enough relative. He was supposed to "have about six months" - about 7 years ago. He's not in perfect condition yet; and his kidneys may be going (though not from massive doses of toxic nostrums).

There is no allopathic treament for HIV. Yet via methods merely to help his immune system to grow healthier - Hamlet persists, and has had many months of almost.. 'robust health' - but is also 7 years older - now.

We will continue to fund the magic-bullet, vaccine, 'cure'. We will pay little attention to other ideas, as with cancer. Techno- is us. So much easier to break it all into small chunks to work on; works so well with semiconductors..

Do what you have discovered, helps the immune system generally. Let 'it' do the chemisty because we sure cannot, though we ever will tell how much we 'know' about that system..

This approach is simply alien to the techno- mindset: which ever expects that any problem may be sub-divided. Apparently - some cannot or, we understand so little that our 'subdivisions' suit our convenience merely, and not the problem.

And so it goes in Western meds.
