perhaps, the ndp has good aims but a poor record running things (in the far distant past)

In fact, at the provincial level, they have the best record of fiscal probity of all of the parties, and that's even when you include Rae's fiscal disaster in Ontario. They don't have a record at the federal level, of course, never having formed a government. |

Yeah, but that would pretty much preclude them from
having much influence over the budget. Not none, but not much. Budgets emit from Cabinet and are brought to the HoC for approval. |
