At the moment eComStation (nor Warp4) has a driver that makes this modem work. Does anyone know of a real modem that works with eCS? Clyde Stauffer

Post #38,154 by orion 5/9/02 7:35:54 PM Reply	Buyer Beware on Ebay, you could be buying junk, or an external modem without a power pack, etc. But yes most brand name external modems will work, just work out the Init string to use with OS/2, usually the same one used with Windows, DOS, Procomm, BBSes, etc. USR/3COM are the best for external modems. Sportster is the cheapie USR brand, Courier is the more expensive one. *I am free now, to choose my own destiny.*

Looking at the Actiontec website I noticed that particular model is the only one that says it will work with OS/2. Apparently all the others are the cheapie Win-modem nonsense.
