Post #378,665 by Steve Lowe 7/31/13 2:49:34 PM Reply	++ Yup, I was laid off 2 1/2 years ago today, and just accepted an offer at Digital Globe (satellite imaging company). It's a Linux/Oracle/Java/Ruby shop. I couldn't be happier, and I start Aug 12. Excuse me while I freak out for awhile!

Pretty laid back environment, most people in jeans/Tshirts, some even in shorts/flipflops. I'll probably go the jeans route and commute on the motorcycle as it gets 50-55mpg compared to 16-18 in my pickup.
