Post #37,406 by dmarker2 5/3/02 8:10:59 PM Reply	Just what Arafat has achieved - Egyptians as proxy martyrs Just to illustrate the extent that Arafat's intafada approach to solving international problems has achieved we got the following news report this morning in China (am sure you will hear about it in US). Egyptians are said to be trying to sneak into west bank to join fight against Israel. One enterprising lad walked up to the Edyptian/Israel border post & yelled out 'Allah Akubar' (or what ever the correct spelling is for God is Great). The border guards shot him dead on the spot. His body has now gone home to a hero's funeral as Egypts 1st Al Aqasa (sp) martyr. Thanks Mr Arafat, we really needed that. Please just sit down and negotiate a peacful settlement if you have the will for it. DSM

The report I read said that he walked towards the Israelis shouting that he had explosives strapped to himself. The Israelis aimed their guns at him and told him to stop. He continued towards them, yelling about Allah and how he was going to blow them (the Israelis) up. When he got too close, the Israelis shot him. Ray
