Nah...
If I lie, they'll catch it.
They already known to much about me. Which is kinda creepy. Though most of it is available in public areas... Plus the Resume puts it out there. |

Placement may be of any of the following...
if it comes to pass:
Mountain View, CA... of course San Francisco, CA Los Angeles, CA Kirkland, WA Pittsburgh, PA Atlanta, GA New York, NY and the Data Center in Oregon... (the Dalles?) Dunno how well I did... of course second guessing is likely in my case, always. |

Re: Placement may be of any of the following...
You can't leave the GRR because, well, just because.
But good luck wherever they send you. "Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from." -- E.L. Doctorow |

After review...
We carefully reviewed your background and experience...Well, at least I ain't gotta move! They were looking for a person with more fundamentals: aka C experience and lots of Python coding experience and many/much contribution(s) to OSS projects. No problem. Don't really care. At least now they'll get off my case every 3-4 months. No, really, I don't care. Perhaps, I should take up coding, as a caveat here. |

Python, Ruby, Javascript
Those seem to be what all the cool kids are doing these days. Not necessarily in that order.
Sorry to hear; don't let it get ya down too much. I had the same experience a few years back. -Mike
