I could put you in touch with Roger. It's more a demo reel to help him land gigs. It is getting some radio play on the local university radio station (CFRC 101.9 at Queen's University), as well as on a college station in Bay City Michigan called WUCX on a show called the eclectic chair. I've just passed that link on to an online blues station in Ottawa; we'll see if that gets anywhere (it was passing it on to the guy I know there that made me wonder if I'd posted it here).

I mean, we just spent an afternoon in my living room and I took a further four or five days getting the rest of the tracks on and mixing... if you listen carefully to the masters you can even hear the occasional car drive by and stuff like that. It's not really hardcore studio grade... pretty lo-fi in a lot of ways.

The one main point of pride for me (as a player) is that each of the additional guitar and percussion tracks were all done in one take (not the first take, but all done in one) with no punch-ins or overdubs... it's why there's the odd mistake on the tracks. Otherwise, most of the niceness can really be attributed to the fact that I blew the money to get good mics and a good recording interface. NB for the audio geeks: focusrite saffire pro 24 into my ancient dell via firewire, using ardour to record. I had to custom compile the firewire drivers to support it....
