I've never liked it.
It always felt like a Gnome version of Outlook. With *both* sets of problems that that implies...

Works for me [tm]
I keep trying to switch to Mac Mail, but the workflow is just so different I find it hard to deal with. I know if I had no choice but to immerse myself I'd get used to it and discover I like it better, but I need to be able to access everything from home and from work. And so far Evolution is the only client I don't hate that I can use in both locations.

And I don't mind it. I've had a lot more problems with Evolution and Thunderbird, mainly because they don't deal well with Exchange servers.
Evolution is cack, though, beyond just the compatibility issues. Regards,

I avoid it when I can.
I have to use it for the calendaring, but I don't go to many meetings. I've always found Outlook seems to want to be it's own email culture and its developers don't look outside that for new features until they have to. And it always feels a few years behind current UI technology.
Fortunately, someone has installed the IMAP Connector for Exchange and I use Opera to talk to that. It struggles with the backend storage sometimes, but I don't know if that's a configuration problem or bugs in the connector (probably the latter). Wade.
