Bloggers calling people teatards for thinking that the Founders were 100% PC Fundamentalist Christians (ref. Michelle Bachman's recent speech) is exactly the same as major political figures calling people traitors and saying they should be shot for thinking that the health insurance companies need to be reigned in a bit.

Yeah, both are incivility.

The question at hand isn't about talking rudely. It is about talking in ways that get people killed. The difference between Andrew Dice Clay and Osama Bin Laden. OBL isn't even suspected of doing more than talking, really. Just working the jaw, if some people take it literally and blow up buildings, well, they were probably nuts to begin with...
