tsa screening for the big guy
The President and his family  preferably with DHS Secretary Janet ÂThe system worked Napolitano  should show up at Dulles or Reagan airport on a weekday with a camera crew in tow, as airport pat downs are typically done in full view of hundreds of travelers. All of America will to see the TSA handling the PresidentÂs crown jewels. Then a rubber-gloved federal agent will run his hands all over his wife and daughterÂs privates while he watches. Then I want him to turn to the camera and tell all of America that this is no big deal and we should all be good citizens and comply with the necessary security procedures.
It only seems fair.

Maybe I should...
wear an Adult Diaper filled with Brown Vinegar...
That'd be cool especially if I was taken aside to do additional searching.

picture of John Pistole
This man wants to see or grope your daughter's breasts before she can fly to see Grandma.
Welcome to the Fatherland.
could also use "son's penis", might be even more effective.

I wonder.
Where are the advocates for long-distance train travel? They don't seem to have come out of the woodwork, yet. You'd think all this protest at the TSA's tactics would be ideal for them to promote a TSA-free alternative.

not exactly viable
I plan to go to Las Vegas next summer. Checking Amtrak, a 1 way trip* would be $470, take 76 1/2 hours and consist of:
4:35 bus trip from Houston to Longview, TX
15:40 train trip to Springfield, IL
2:15 bus trip to Galesburg, IL
31:27 train trip to Salt Lake City, UT
8:05 bus trip to Las Vegas.
plus lots of layover time at each connection.
* round trip fails to find a route

Yeah, your country needs to consider
investing in itself, if it wants to make that a viable alternative.
Seems pretty unlikely, to me.

Wait... you do realize...
That the Republicans in general feel that investing in national infrastructure is "wasted" money.
What does that tell you in reply to your comment?

I know that.
But all this broohaha about the TSA and flying and I was expecting the "spend money on trains!" brigade to materialize.

Pick your poison
In this country, trains may go to a lot of places, but we are simply too big to have serious rail that can compete with airlines, at least for passenger travel.
