Democrats put it in suspension (where they knew it wouldn't pass, and could blame in on Republicans) instead of putting it through the normal channel because the Republicans >might< add things that would make it hard to pass (in which case they could blame Republicans). So the D's KNEW one course (it wouldn't pass)and took it as opposed a taking a SUSPECTED course (where it would likely have passed). Whose the worse party in this? It actually had a chance if they used normal channels..and had no chance at 2/3. I will choose a path that's clear. I will choose freewill.

(ensure citizenship) What a poison pill that would have been. I will choose a path that's clear. I will choose freewill.

If it's the Republican fault, you could blast them for not voting for the bill..but that wasn't what you appeared to be doing. You appeared to be blasting Democrats for choosing a 'hard-line' option...and ignoring the Republican stance completely.

You seem to be willing to give Democratic leadership a pass..even though their actions are equally culpable...which is, in essence, the exact response they expected, which, is pretty much exactly why they did what they did.
