If B & B are making the legal decisions - big trouble.
Billy and Ballmer have no concept of either law or ethics - they're two bulls in a china shop (and Animal Control is closing in).
I got [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/news/M010731.html|my article up]

Your LA Times link isn't
"When it crosses my mind to do something, I don't ask why, I ask why not. And usually there's no reason not to, so I just go ahead. It's given me the strangest collection of hats"

I have a hard time linking to the dead tree version.
I was in a hurry, maybe I'll find the link later - but their links disappear into "per pay" in a few days anyway.

Typo
In the first line: "... and and lost the appeal ..."
This is my sig. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Damn! thought I got all those (I always . . .
. . spell it Balmer the first time through (and a search of the Register (one of our greatest repositories of typos) will show plenty of precedent for that).

Gotta take issue with one point in another of your articles:
From [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/news/M010723.html|Senate to Grill Microsoft]: "They have stated they cannot let the Windows XP release confuse consumers during the release of XBox (due for the Christmas season), so the delay in releasing XP will be a long one." Yeah, sure, they've stated that... But since when does their stating anything have to mean it's true??? It's not as if they've always worked all-out to avoid "confus[ing] consumers" before -- rather on the contrary, AFAICS. (Oh yeah, and in [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/news/M010731.html|Blatant Anti-Trust Violation?], you still have one typo of his name: "Let's all shed a tear for poor Mr. Balmer".)
