I bought my own furniture
for the 1st time in my life last year.
25 years of the wife choosing. Never again.
An old friend was visiting a couple of days ago. His wife was iffy about me. I popped up after no contact after 27 years. Seems he didn't talk much about our time together. And now this crazy person shows up out of the blue to throw theirs lives in a timult.
So I needed to meet her, smooze her, and then invite them to my place to meet my true love.
They complimented her on the furniture, the general design, the carpets, etc.
She demurred, oh no, he picked it all out.
Hehe.
