The Yahoo link in my original post above seems to have expired, so if you need a reminder as to what I'm talking about, see "[link|http://www.nbc6.net/print/14069203/detail.html|Woman Nearly Kicked Off Flight For Skimpy Outfit]".
I thought the criticism ms Ebbert received from quite a large proportion of the blogosphere at the time was harsh and unfair; her attire was called "slutty" (and she herself a "skank") more than once, as I recall... But it feels to me as if this latest piece of news, "[link|http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/n/a/2007/11/15/national/a185653S61.DTL&type=printable|Flyer Told to Change Outfit Poses Nude]", tends to support these less-than-charitable commenters more than my own perhaps-naive view at the time.
(In the article, ms Ebbert claims that the pictures are "very tastefully done"... But then, they always say that, don't they? Let's hope she's right in thinking -- though I must admit to some trepidation on this count -- that it won't have too adverse an effect on her future professional aspirations.)
