You know, I've never been to Vegas
I have to do my misbehaving locally.
If you can stand to take a break from your debauchery, earmark a quarter for me for the slot machine. I need a windfall!

Misbehaving locally is better.
I hate Las Vegas. I used to go to Comdex there every year (anyone remember Comdex?). It's a really dismal place.
Everything's cheaply thrown up, gaudy, noisy, expensive and temporary. The place crawls with people anxious to make a buck (well, actually a lot more than a buck) off your misbehaving.

Yes, I remember COMDEX! :)
They were good for new product announcements.
But never did attend one.

I've never had much of a desire to go there
I prefer places with less razzle dazzle. Send me to a little cottage on the North Atlantic shore and I would be happy.

Ah, but there is the Star Trek Experience. ;-)
And having spent nearly the entire day there on Thursday, I can tell you that was worth the entire trip alone (well, for me anyway).
I bought a spare battery and 1G CF card for the "old" S50 Canon just for this occasion. Good thing, too. I've twice exhausted the original battery while only half way through some of the sight-seeing trips.
Been taking quite a few night shots (mostly without the flash) and I can wait to see how things turn out on the big monitor.
we're out of here tomorrow and I haven't even touched the slot machines, or any of the tables. Might get to that today..... maybe.

Star Trek isnt exactly a selling point for me.
The ex was a Trekkie. I have a box of Star Trek spaceship Christmas tree ornaments I'd be happy to unload. They light up and everything.
Now regarding the gambling- hop to it! Mamma needs a new pair of shoes!

Sorry, no gambling. Now at the airport.
I was just too tired from the entire week to even bother going down to the casino last night.
On the Trekkie ornaments, I'll take them off your hands. We can "discuss" when I finally get home.

I thought there were slots, etc., at the airport.
They don't want to leave any money on the table, after all... ;-)
Have a safe trip home.
Cheers, Scott.

There are.
However, I shot a good wad of cash at the Star Trek Experience on Thursday.
Unless I can find some nickel slots, they're not getting anymore of my money. ;-)

No new shoes
The ornaments are yours. Happy to get rid of them. They are from the keepsake series. Quite collectible.

I went there once
while in the military I went to a couple of the bases in area. It was just after my separation to my then wife, so you know what that means...
Yup, no money to do anything with!

Almost makes me wish I had a "real" camera. ;-)
All those shots are from a Canon S50 "Point & Shoot" 5mp camera with built-in flash turned off.
