
Actually.....
the night I thought I was going to die, I got shit-faced and had the aforementioned, lip-smacking libation. When I read more about Celiac Disease and its associated consequences, the liver issue was one of them. Ergo, once I get going with the gluten-free life, the liver issue will abate and I can drink to my little heart's content (within moderation of course!).
BTW, distilled beverages are considered gluten-free!
I just can't have regular beer. No great loss there.
