There's probably a Lost, too
Well, a [link|http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=lost&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=41.546728,82.441406&ie=UTF8&z=4&om=1|Lost City]. And that one is just down the road (a bit, and across the valley and behind the next mountain) from DC...

There's a Paradise in Michigan's UP
One can easily make the trip from Hell to Paradise in one day.

Most of us are more prone to going the other way, I fear.

Well, since I'm closer to Hell, I would start there.

As soon as I read the first post
I remembered the Hell->Paradise in Mi and started to look it up. Found it, and came back to continue reading the thread, and found that you beat me to it. :-\ufffd

I went to Paradise on my honeymoon
No pun intended. Trust me.
It was one of our stops along the various lake shores as we headed up to White Fish Point to see the shipwreck museum, then over to Pictured Rocks.
