I see a distinction between the two. I see Soros less as a man of hate than a man with a a vision of spreading democracy around the world and he funds it. He seems to be able to criticize those he used to support, which makes him different from Scaife. In the end, maybe all he is more interested in getting his vision implemented than the vision itself, don't know about that.

I think I am going to leave his criticism of Bush for another time.
