From what I can tell, I've got an "oom-killer" process (Out Of Memory Killer) that's been crashing my laptop since I returned home with it on Friday night.

I was using it all day Friday at work without problems, powered it off to take it to a friend's house, and since I've come back home, it's been flaky at best. The keyboard doesn't respond someimes, causg droppeletters in the middle of words (as in this sentence here). I'm a touch-typist, and I can spell well, so this is really annoying.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate hearing them. I have upgraded kernels, but I did that last night after these problems started happening. Otherwise, I haven't upgraded in at least a month.
