Seriously...if I had 20k disposable income I would buy this. There is alot of music that will never make it to digital age and you can grab copies of it at hundreds of flea markets around the country.

I've heard of a system that uses a CCD and a light. I don't know what kind of resolution is needed, though, which I imagine a laser system would have an advantage.
