This is why we shouldn't let the physicists out of the labs, or the philosophers out of the bars.
\r\n\r\nIn my previous life as a philosopher, I did the standard run through philosophy of mind, and kept running once I was done. This stuff was bollocks then and is bollocks now (though there's plenty of room for cross-pollination -- my thesis defense was in front of two philosophers and a physicist -- just cross-pollination of, you know, the rational and productive sort, not the "whoa, dude, that's totally deep" sort).
