New have had it many times
twice as kid, 17 24 35 now 50. Have also had/have malaria and yellow fever. Yellow fever is the big bitch, live thru that survive damn near anything. (was in 1985, went from a tuned 230lbs to 175lbs of shivering dog shakes)

New It's still messing with me.
Wheezing, cough, crap like that. And supposedly I kicked it a few weeks back. I've been sick to varying degrees for 5 weeks now.

New Took me 6 weeks
to shake walking pneumonia one summer. Spent almost the whole time sitting/sleeping in my recliner; it was easier to breathe there. By the time I went back to work it had fallen apart - I had to replace it.

It was the most boring time I can remember, punctuated only by physical misery.

My sympathies.
