Bacterial pneumonia
The nasty chest cold I've had for the past two weeks developed into coughing up blood on Saturday. Went in, had a chest X-ray, and I've got pneumonia. Woo, fun.
At least tomorrow is a holiday where I work.
Now you know why I was coughing like a dope fiend at the Mills on Friday, Greg.

Take yer meds and Get well.
Had the chest cold...still recovering after 3 weeks. It certainly was one that could easily have turned.

Ouch. I know what you're going through.
Bad stuff. Take your meds, cough out the goop, get better.

Bummer
You must be working too hard.
Short term disability, that's what you need. And some recuperating time in a favorable climate. Vegas, that's the ticket. Hot, dry, clear you right up.

Re: Bummer
Not really. The virus ate the inside lining off my lungs and the bacteria set up shop. Although your cure sounds good nonetheless.

Thanks everyone.
No more goop being coughed up, but the cough is still keeping me up. The antibiotic seems to be doing its job.
I'm going to try work today, but probably not for very long.
