I'm no expert, but I've been messing around with [link|http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/soundtrackpro/|Soundtrack], which appears to be Garageband on some serious steroids.

I've looked at that one before...

Expensive, and not-so-good from the reviews I've read.
