How about they sell them on the plane, via carts, before the plane takes off? Let Starbucks, etc run carts with coffee, water, danishes, etc on them and make sure they don't price-gouge. Maybe have Starbucks ect use secruity guards who have been screened to sell the stuff, and have it go a series of checks before being offered?

It is a pain for people who have liquid medicine, they cannot take it with them due to these tight security rules. Insulin for example has to have your name and address on it from a pharmacy, but what if the pharmacy puts the label on the box and the bottle inside of it does not have a label? Can they take insulin away from diabetics? It creates a possible lawsuit.
