My friend the theoretical physicist says that all the real hard stuff is still done in FORTRAN. Certainly the stuff that runs on things like the Fermi cluster is predominantly FORTRAN.
But hey ho, back to the job advert.
I reckon what they mean when they say "passionate" is really "willing to work for arse-all money".
