...My sources (#debian on EFNet, I believe) claim that [link|http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/|EasyUbuntu] is easier, better, and safer than Automatix. It also apparently doesn't do some of the odd things that Automatix does, such as echo y | some command that normally prompts you for yes or no.
When I get my main lapper back from repairs (again again), I'll give the EU a try.
