Anyone remember Ed Meese of the Reagan Time ? Note how much spin-space they give to ACT in this item.. With access to the addresses of people registered to attend the conservative get-together, ATL sent letters deriding the antitrust suit and urging attendees to send an e-mail to Justice to ``bring to a close one of the remaining legacies of the Clinton administration.'' So then.. is it 'conservative' to automatically support the miscreant - just as long as the miscreant has A Lot to 'conserve' ? Is it that simple, this 'CPA Conference' thingie? We need something that suggests the idea of paid mourners, or people paid to applaud on opening night of a bad play. Something like -- Renta-turf?
