New Once more into the valley of death...
A friend told me to imagine the entire cast of Braveheart standing behind me screaming "JAHOYFT!" at the top of their lungs.

I'd like to hold on to control of my bowels as much as possible, I don't think that would help.

Edit: Time to sack my intelligence service. "I've been seeing this guy I met at a BBQ for the past month and a half" != "single" by any definition of the word. Luckily I found this out before I asked her... By about ten seconds. Talk about fucking luck.
When somebody asks you to trade your freedoms for security, it isn't your security they're talking about.

New Actually, I'm fine.
Was more a "hey, she seems neat, let's ask her out" than a "OMG I'M FREAKIN OUT BECAUSE I AM TEH EMO TROLL!!11oneone" type thing.

I'm more sweating because of the near miss than because I'm actually worried about anything.

New maybe you need a booty call
lower your sights and yer standards, knock the edge off then look.

New Needed to break the damn ice, is all.
I'm not a booty call type of guy, anyways.

New Fracking bril!
New Is she offering?
New NO! She has her hands full with other things these days!
Not that I dont find Thane perfectly adorable, though.

She is just spouting off at the mouth like she always does. Ignore her.

New "She"
I'm pretty sure in this case, "she" is the hot young thing wearing T shirt.
New eyesight is the second thing to go

You're typing on a device that stores trillions of pieces of data and makes billions of computations per second with the ability to grab data on almost anything from around the world in milliseconds, using electricity transmitted from hundreds of kilometers through wires on towers dozens of meters tall connected to megastructures that do things like burn coal as fast as entire trains can pull into the yard, or spin in the wind with blades the size of jumbo jets, or the like, which were delivered to their location by vehicles with computer-timed engines burning a fuel that was pumped up halfway around the world from up to half a dozen kilometers underground and locked into complex strata (through wells drilled by diamond-lined bores that can be remote-control steered as they go), shipped around the world in tankers with volumes the size of large city blocks and the height of apartment complexes, run through complex chemical processes in unimaginable quantities, distributed nationwide and sold to you at a corner store for $1.80 a gallon, which you then pay for with a little piece of microchipped plastic, if not a smartphone, which does all of the aforementioned computer stuff but in a box the size of your hand that tolerates getting beaten up in your pocket all day.

But technology never seems to advance...
