Ahead of the pack?
To not coding?

I spent the day polishing a Perl system that automates file processing, spooling, and job submissions to a 3rd party high end printer spooling environment.

I have no direct reports (I mentor) and I'm always deep into tech.

Code is my life.

I don't get over to the other forums much and a lot of what gets posted in the 2 forums I barely have time to read seems to be your "management" escapades.

After working long hours, we did get our stuff deployed to Production about 9pm Friday night.

Understood.

I'll post a "management" story on Open or Jobs becuase they have a wider audience than coding posts.

I don't post many coding posts becuase I typically (at least I think I do) know what I need to do, and I post in Linux or Development when looking for help
