Coding music suggestions
********* Edit ********* OK, you can stop now. Thanks all. ********* Edit *********
I've got to spend the next couple of months in a cube farm.
The project I'm working on requires lots of user interaction, and the building had no spare offices.
So I need to code with a headset to try to isolate myself from the noise and distractions.
I need a list of music/artists that will block out the world without distracting me. I can't listen to stuff with lyrics. I found Tangerine Dream a good choise. Any other suggestions?

a few
Rock: Satriani, Vai, Dixie Dregs
Acoustic Guitar: Ken Verheecke, William Ackerman
Classical, though sometimes intricate classical can steal my focus.

That plus...
Rob Zombie == Zombie Rock very heavy, can almost understand him. Akasha Project == Trance Bluemen Group == Alternative instrument music Celtic Nots == Traditional Celtic music with updated instruments Digital Karma == Fusion Trance Digital Mystery Tour == good sounding trance Dimmu Borgir == Theatrical Speed Metal, in (I think) German Earl Klugh Trio == Theme Music performers (like Goldfinger for 007, The "Deadly Affair") Enya == Flowy music with words but easily ignorable background music Federation == Dance Club mix music, some vocals with beats Frogacult == Hard House Trance God Is An Astronaut == Just too many styles to classify, but Indie, few vocals. Haldolium == Psych Trance. Good beats no vocals (err exceptionally few)
If you need more... I have plenty more to choose from.

"Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from." -- E.L. Doctorow

A few tunes.
Classical Gas - Mason Williams. Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield. Overture frorm Quadrophenia - The Who. Beethoven's 9th Symphony - L.v. Beethoven. Expecially the 2nd Movement. "Oil and Gold" - Shriekback. (I think there's an instrumental or 2 on there. Maybe "Malaria"? I can't check as I'm in Mepis and don't have a music player installed.)

i know you said stop...but...
I'm not thinking music...I wondering if you're using a particular headset or not.
I've been looking for better ones (I'm stuck in a cube farm too) and have been looking at the noise cancelling ones.
