Fear me
I've finished investigator training.
I now have super human powers.
I can find almost anyone. Tell if they're legit. Reconstruct their life pattern. Identify their relationships with other people and past incarnations of their online selves. Disable credit cards.
Its a little bit intoxicating. And not that hard if you're willing to spend for a couple info services.
The internet connects all and renders you transparent.
Wiretapping is for amateurs.
I think I'm gonna like this job.

The query that you could sell to someone...
Name, address, salary and phone number for all single people of gender X in geographical region Y whose income is more than Z.
Highly unethical, of course.
Yet I'm willing to bet large sums of money that this query has actually been run...

their husband's purchases. Particularly the ones that you suspect the wife might not know about. ;-)

How international is the data?
I mean, you could find lots about any US resident, but I'm not and never have been one.

Varies somewhat
AFAICS I can get good info on US and UK stuff - there are separate teams for other markets. Much of the address validation stuff is simpy web based white pages (available by subscription).
