being in an inner city gang you already have
a much higher tolerance for using violence as a tool. As for the heavy weapons training (shrug) the better idea is that they learn to interact with people of different color and backgrounds with a common enemy. A lot of these kids may have never spoken with a white kid as a peer, only as an abstract.
