Someone had similar problems to you and was only able to fix it by doing a [link\|http://www.codecomments.com/archive240-2005-11-683450.html\|fresh install without preserving the user's settings]. There's a dearth of information out there on solutions to problems like this, as I'm sure you know. I hope you get it figured out. Cheers, Scott.
Post #249,417 by admin 3/26/06 9:08:20 PM Reply	Could be. I just put 10.4.5 on; if this doesn't fix things I'll do a backup and fresh install (GAH). I thought these things were supposed to be free of this kind of aggravation? Linux may be clunky, but it doesn't just silently go to pot like this.
