It's been an interesting week. The boss's wife is from Costa Rica and her parents live in Columbia. Her father passed away and they left last Friday.

They are due to return this coming Monday. Sad thing is, haven't heard one peep from him (not even an email!)

I put out a couple of fires with a few well-placed calls to Home Office but mostly tried to find something to kill the boredom. Addressed about 500 postcards for the first marketing blitz.

In all, the phone rang maybe 10 times (most of them from Critter.)

I guess with a little more time, it will get better. Not many people get paid for babysitting an empty office, so I'm thankful. Sure will be nice to get my first paycheck, though.
