For the small world category
Just received email reply from Bio. Seems her best friend from college works in this building. Checked telephone roster, her friend works one floor down.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"

I'm on the phone with her now
She is yelling at me for meeting men on the internet. "Who is this guy? Is he married? He has your EMAIL address? Are you CRAZY?? Do you KNOW any of these people? YOU NEED TO MOVE OUT HERE NOW!"
More later... she's still going strong. :-)

If she knew this group was international
she'd be driving to Michigan to drag me to Minnesota herself. She and I are great friends, but I was always the trouble maker of the bunch. I think after 25 years she still sees me that way. I'd be the one jumping on the back of a Harley and taking off with a guy I just met or the one dancing on the tables at the bar. Even though I'm all grown up, she's still looking out for me. She's a good friend.

Ooo, that's a good one!
I calmed her down. I told Joe that if he mentioned to her that I met him on "the internet" she was gonna freak out. She doesnt quite get it. I get the feeling she hung up the phone shaking her head and praying for my lost soul.

It's those who don't go online that think it's so special
There are people I know only online who I probably know more about than some people in my own neighborhood. That doesn't mean I'd trust any of you to watch my kids.

here's a great idea...
cruise the interesting discussion forums, but don't contribute at all. Someone might respond to you, and quelle horrrrorrr, that someone might be a man. <cue cheesy music> Yeah, that's what we should do, have segregated internets: men's side and women's side. You know, like bath towels. Keep them separate, you wouldn't want them to communicate anything...

Do you mean you invited Yo to visit you, or you that you told Yo you invited me to come visit? Because she already told me she'd be really pissed if I came out to visit you- especially since I've never been to MN to see her.
I havent seen her since she's been out in Eagan. Does she still have all that hair?
