Lately returned from the "honeymoon," which, for as impromptu and ill-organized as the planning was, turned out pretty well. A friend made his (somewhat spartan) newly-purchased two-bedroom condo available, and we stayed there, about seven kilometers south of Puerto Vallarta, for most of our two weeks. The building has twenty units, two per floor, a swimming pool and a seawall, although the seawall is visibly eroding and a grapefruit-sized chunk of masonry detached itself from the eighth floor and fell into the pool during our stay.
