Interesting - I went to google my source for the license I had read so many times, and can't find it. Further, it appears that what I was reading was the Affero public license.

It may well be that my perceptions have been colored by all the discussion of GPLv3 (THOSE seem to be everywhere).

OK, I'll back off until I see more. Much of what I thought was fact seems to be conjecture - it may be that I really don't have that much to get excited about.
