Ergo - Rowan and I have something in common - my first Brit 'car' - the '52 side-valve 897? cc thingie (or was that 803, and the larger is for first OHV). Indestuctible engine and the gutlessness may well have enhanced my survival chances. {chortle} Somehow, the typical Porsche people - and I wish them no ill - are not, I feel, my kind of people. I don't go around saying that Porsches are a pile of dung, but I do know that psychologically I couldn't handle owning one. ..and he co-drives with Stirling Moss! ..OK, so it was in a Mk VII Jaguar. Still. (whom I saw in action at Monte Carlo. Pity, never owned a BRG-color car. Yet.) Wish Billy'd spent some of his bucks for a McLaren - and then rilly tried autistic-powered balls-out 'driving' in That sucker. (Gawd knoze what his other, commercial 'drivers' are like.)
