Nervous about the ceremony, right?
People couldn't believe my wife and I weren't nervous. Sure, we were worried about the ceremony coming off okay, and the cake showing up at the reception. But the actual marriage part we weren't nervous about at all. We knew it's what we wanted to do.

Nervous about the day as a whole, I guess.

Just remember...
She has as little experience with this as you do. You'll both be pleasantly surprised.

Your job is to
1. Show up 2. Say "I Do" when you're supposed to 3. Smile for the photographer.
Everything else is irrelevant because it's HER day and you are nothing more than a prop.

A note on pictures
We set up a little room for the photographer just off the main reception room. Thought we were being so clever. We spent the entire night getting dragged in there by one relative or another who wanted a picture taken with us. When we got the candids back, we kept looking through them saying, "I don't remember that."
Pose for the pictures at the church. Pose for the cake cutting and the first dance. After that, tell people if they want a picture they'll have to keep up and shoot fast.

Re: Your job is to

That makes me so glad I had John participate a great deal in our wedding. He sang to me on stage, read his own written vows, and we did choreographed dances at the reception for the crowd to the Dirty Dancing songs "Do Ya Love Me" and "I've Had the Time of My Life". We even choreographed the garter ceremony to "She's Got Legs" It was OUR day, not my day. :) Brenda

Speaking of which...
I caught (OK, picked up) the garter at Wade(Static) & Rachael's wedding yesterday... but I'll leave it to Wade to tell you about the wedding, I won't go spoiling everything.
In short, though: Lovely day!

It may take a while for him to tell us...
He has *ahem* other priorities right now.
