Some of the best gifts I've received from John
Came by him listening to me or observing me. If I saw something I really really liked (but maybe was expensive, so I didn't ask for it), he would take note of that and remember later. One of the best ones was a beautiful music box that played Pachelbel's Canon In D, and was shaped like a unicorn with tiny water ball alongside with a rose in it. And another one was tickets to see Mario Lemieux play a hockey game in St. Louis, (cause I was wishing I could see it).
Has she mentioned wanting anything, talked about seeing anything she liked, or wished for anything lately? Listen to her and see what you find out.
I'll keep thinking though, and see what else I can think of.
It might help if you gave us some idea of her tastes, what she likes, doesn't, etc. to give us something to go on. :)
