Sounds like Anki is still at the stage where she is in awe of her creation. Drew's suggestion for time away from Max will be more appropriate next year. Max will be in his "terrible twos" stage, trying to re-assert his status as royalty.

No suggestion of a gift from here. It depends greatly on Anki's interests and priorities. But, perhaps something like a bouquet of flowers would work.

Mine is almost a text file, (my birthday database for my friends and family). It's a series of tables in word, with each table being a month.* I put the names, ages, dates into each table and then when I go to buy my Hallmark cards for the month, I simply write down whom I need from that. :)

I also have the birthday reminders to fix the cards up and send them on time, programmed into my Anytime Organizer System on my computer... and as a backup reminder, I write the name of the person to send the card to on my huge wall calendar, with "send (name of person) card."

Organization is wonderful, isn't it?

*Oh, and the tables all fit on one side of a sheet of standard 8 1/2 by 11 paper. :)
