Oh, I don't at all say they shouldn't be.

After all, that kind of work could make sliced and cooked critter a bit unappetizing come dinner time.

I was responding not to that but to her reaction to what others eat as disgusting, in particular her reaction to tripe, which is a pretty inocuous substance and enjoyed all over the world, particularly in France where it's done up with Apple juice and Armignac. I made that many years ago and it was delicious.

Boiled head isn't exactly what I would call innocuous, but then again, I won't eat it either. The French like their cheese way too fricking runny as well.
