Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I want
Domesticated foxes.

[link|http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2005/02/0208_050208_foxes.html|http://news.national...050208_foxes.html]
New Pretty foxy
[link|http://www.aaxnet.com|AAx]
New You'd probably chop 'em up
And put them in a stew!
It's like, "How much more black could this be?", and the answer is none. None more black.
New Dit freakin O!
New I've heard...
that foxes have a personality halfway between a dog and a cat.

Cheers,
Ben
I have come to believe that idealism without discipline is a quick road to disaster, while discipline without idealism is pointless. -- Aaron Ward (my brother)
New Does that mean . . .
They despise you enthusiastically (with tail wagging)?
They worship you lethargically?
Or they just don't care one way or the other?

New Sociable but more self-reliant

New wild
Have fun,
Carl Forde
New They're awfully cute
But 45 years isnt very long for domestication. I'd worry that they'd grow up and drag the neighbor's baby off. You know, "The dingo ate my baby".
It's like, "How much more black could this be?", and the answer is none. None more black.
New Hey - my Grandfather managed
to 'undomesticate' sheep in 30 years. He bred for size; he got more wool and more meat out of'em that way. They WERE big, too, by the end. Unfortunately, the rams became REALLY aggressive.

Imric's Tips for Living
  • Paranoia Is a Survival Trait
  • Pessimists are never disappointed - but sometimes, if they are very lucky, they can be pleasantly surprised...
  • Even though everyone is out to get you, it doesn't matter unless you let them win.

Nothing is as simple as it seems in the beginning,
As hopeless as it seems in the middle,
Or as finished as it seems in the end.

New It is nearly always
Easier to let things goto Hell-in-a-hand-basket, than to keep'em on the straight and narrow.

No matter how much Microsoft supporters whine about how Linux and other operating systems have just as many bugs as their operating systems do, the bottom line is that the serious, gut-wrenching problems happen on Windows, not on Linux, not on Mac OS. -- [link|http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1622086,00.asp|source]
New You can thank entropy for that
It's like, "How much more black could this be?", and the answer is none. None more black.
New Entropy...
In Thermo-Dynamics, yeah.

Or are you actually refering to Chaos encroachment?

Or Entropy as a variable that sucks order out of a pool?

New I've heard of projects to domesticate fish.
And I *know* some of you will be going "Huh?" :-)

Most of our agricultural animals are domesticated breeds: they don't really have wild versions extant anymore. The domestic versions of cattle and sheep rely on man's tending to produce in the amount we want.

But we don't have any fish like that. The goal of the projects to domesticate fish is to come up with variations of fish that analogous to the common cow.

Wade.

Is it enough to love
Is it enough to breathe
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed

Is it enough to die
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be Anything but Ordinary
Please

-- "Anything but Ordinary" by Avril Lavigne.

New Self-gutting Rainbow Trout?
Modified seppuku: a sharpened (humaneered) fin guts the sucker mid-air as it flips self into frying pan; to internal mantra .. I cannot live with this shame.

But then.. we're all domesticated; sheep by the shepherds, troops by the priests: we're all Good Corporate Citizens Now (sung to the Lumberjack's Song :-)
New Of course... Cat Fish, Dog Fish... ;-j breeding's a problem
