Romantic comedies make me lose the will to live. I watched Sliding Doors and Bridget Jones with SWMBO, and she thought they were fab and I just sat there, wondering if there was any way I could force myself to hallucinate that I was watching Blake's 7 reruns. Hugh Grant? Smug Git.

Hugh Grant? Dreamy! I love his accent and find his smugness endearing.
I enjoy romantic comedies. Yes, it's a chick thing.
Action films make me vomit. Cant handle all that macho crap.

Yes, most 'films' I see are ancient, mostly not-Murican .. and involve the absurd range of homo-sap emotions and damn little of homo-sap-weaponry: for that one, merely Fail Safe and Dr. Strangelove have already covered the drill. Ditto Matrix and other transistorized stuff, especially if they have lots of lectric guitars. Hollywood hates moi. I trust.
