New Secret tribunals for non american citizens no prob until
they start using them on citizens, you cant say they wont because the proceedings are secret. How ya gonna know/complain? Just trust in Ashcroft? Rather fly an aircraft I built myself.

New Finally something resembling an actual point.
The trick about secret crimes is that in order to avoid justice, you've got to keep them secret indefinitely. Has anyone ever managed to do this? (If anyone had, would we know?)

But there is a reason given for keeping the tribunals secret: to avoid disclosure of (presumably legitimate) state secrets. But is it necessary to keep secret the identity of the defendants? That's the only way I can see this being abused against citizens. And I've seen no indications that this would be permitted. Have I missed anything?
