Lame analogy
It's a lame, darkside of the moon analogy with the Space Program.
Many have seen fit to justify the Space Program to those who see it as an expensive boondoggle by pointing out how all the technological spinoffs have changed and benefited society.
I am justifying the War Program by pointing out all the sociological benefits we can expect to spin off from it at home. Think of Iraq as a micro-gravitas lab where we can be free to perfect techniques, in this case pre-emptive strafing to deter violence, until they are ready to use in our schools.

Have whatever values you have. That's what America is for.
You don't need George Bush for that.
