New And my (step) daughter in the NG
will start her AIT (specialty training) after HS graduation in Jun 05. I now expect her to be deployed to Iraq in Sep or Oct.

FWIW, she didn't bother to vote. Didn't like either candidate. (MN went blue so her vote, if for Kerry, wouldn't have changed the outcome) So, when she complains about being sent to Iraq, "you didn't bother to vote, don't complain."
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
