Canada beat the Czech Republic 4-3 in OT tonight!!!!

We helped my cousin install a new hard drive to her computer, so she let us see the entire game at her house (she had cable), and it was an awesome game! Canada would score and the Czechs would tie and so on and so on, starting in the 2nd period. (The first period was scoreless). It was so riveting, we were on the edge of our seats half the time!

Anyway, I got to see Mario make his FIRST goal in the World cup and also first goal since his hip surgery last year, and it was a beautiful goal!!!!

Then Kris Draper put it in at the last in OT to make it 4-3 and eliminate
the Czechs!!! So now we face Finland on Tuesday for the cup itself!

GO CANADA!!!

I mixed him up with LeCavalier. I think Draper scored the first goal, or the third, or something like that, and didn't Mario get the second one? Sorry, didn't mean to be incorrect.

Edit: I looked closer, it was Brewer who scored the 1st one, Mario who got #2, and Draper got #3. :) Then LeCavalier sewed it up for us!

I was so excited, I didn't care, and yes, the Czechs played a really good game too, it was an exciting close game.
